This helps to gain insight and understanding which enables the release of old unwanted patterns into new more beneficial ones. Finding and releasing the root cause of an issue helps the positive change to be more permanent.

Hypnosis is a state of focused concentration and heightened suggestibility. We all reach this state naturally throughout the day. For example you are in a state of hypnosis when you daydream; you are very focused on something and don’t hear someone coming into the room; or when you jump at the scary bits when you are watching a film.

Some people worry that they might be out of control in Hypnosis but actually your senses are heightened and you can only be hypnotised if you want to be. A Hypnotherapist can’t make you change, only you can do that. You and your Hypnotherapist work together to make the changes you want. Any suggestions that you don’t want will be automatically rejected.
